Vasilis Alexandrou
Vasileios Alexandrou- Born in 1990 in Greece. Graduated from the School of Fine Arts of Aristotle University in 2014. In 2019 he completed a Master in “Audiovisual Arts in the Digital Age” at the Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University. He has created two permanent works for public space and has displayed his work in seven solo exhibitions and in more than 70 group shows. In 2017 he represented Greece in Mediterranean 18 Young Artists Biennale "Home", National Gallery of Tirana. He has delivered seminars at University Institutions and since March 2020 he is a PhD candidate at the Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University with a PhD thesis on "Political Art in Digital Age" for which he has been awarded a scholarship by H.F.R.I., Hellenic Foundation for Research & Innovation.
